Okay, so...here's the scoop. Because I am completely an idiot and pay little attention to what I am doing 3/4 of the time, I (trying to make my dashboard more organized for myself) accidentally deleted my best blog entitled "New Year, New Start"...which, of course, was the longest blog I've done and the only blog I've had any feedback on! Grrr!!! How am I supposed to have a creative writing project when I go deleting entries?!
However, instead of letting this get me down and becoming a quitter again, I have decided to regroup and summarize all the important parts of the blog that is now somewhere off in space. R.I.P. old, and might I add, very FABULOUS blog that I spent at least an hour on!!! Nope. I'm not bitter at all. Okay, without further ado...and for the second time....
Important thought #1 that I already said:
I decided to start blogging again because I really want to do something creative with my time and all of the ideas that I constantly have floating through my head. Since I love writing, blogging seems like the perfect hobby for me.
Important thought #2 that I already said:
Instead of going at this in my typical style, a very organized manner where I would theoretically introduce you to myself and tell you all about my likes, dislikes, hometown, education, career, etc. to begin with and then start blogging about current events in my life, I have decided to let each blog reveal snipits of who I am depending on what's going on in my life at the moment I am blogging. That way, you get to know me as you read...and you don't have to read my autobiography to begin with. Aren't I kind?
Important thought #3 that I already said:
I had a great weekend with my boyfriend, Trent, two weeks ago. I left after work to go visit him in Statesboro--which is a whopping four hours away from my hometown of Cairo. I must include, again, that he met me halfway so I wouldn't have to make the long drive all by myself. :)
Important thought #4 that I already said:
Trent and I don't have to do anything particularly exciting to have a good time. We had the best time just eating Taco Bell in the car in the Bi Lo parking lot with the windows down. And, the warm, pre-rain breeze that blew in made it that much better!
Important thought #5 that I already said:
While in Statesboro I had some awesome NY Cheesecake ice cream from an ice cream hut called Bruster's that you may have heard of. It had pieces of real cheesecake and graham cracker in it! Completely divine! I highly suggest it.
Important thought #6 that I already said:
Tapatio hot sauce is the BEST hot sauce in the world! It has a slightly mexican flavor that Trent and I absolutely love! It is great on just about anything!

Important thought #7:
I published a recipe that I really love in the blog that got deleted. It was for Buffalo Chicken Dip that I think would be a great addition to any Super Bowl party this year. The original recipe called for blue cheese dressing and blue cheese crumbles, but I made some minor adjustments since I hate crumbly, pungent cheeses. Here it is again:
Buffalo Chicken Dip
1 8 oz. package of cream cheese
1 cup of ranch salad dressing
1/2 cup of hot sauce (I like Moore's buffalo wing sauce with a few splashes of Tapatio)
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 cans of chunk chicken breast (or, substitute 2 cups of store-bought rotisserie chicken for extra flavor)
Tortilla chips or crackers for dipping
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, ranch dressing, hot sauce, and chicken. Spread mixture across the bottom of a 9" glass baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes, or until mixture is hot and bubbly. Serve with tortilla chips or crackers. Enjoy!
Hope you all enjoyed reading this for the second time!!! Now, on to something new.
